Huraisha Rafee (Aisha Ayesha)
Singer-songwriter and producer Aisha Ayesha released a digital EP album Epitome of Love (E.O.L) at the age of 19. Aisha's music is reminiscent of pop-R&B/soul but she now aims for a more genre-agnostic sound. She hopes to advocate for mental health through her music. Before LASALLE, Aisha won several awards at songwriting competitions. She was the first to be awarded the Special Achievement Award for Excellence (Non-Academic) in the music category by Yayasan Mendaki in 2015.
Work
In June 2017, Aisha released a digital EP album, Epitome of Love, that was self-produced, self-written and arranged. It amassed over 30k streams on Spotify and gathered 1.3k followers on Instagram. Aisha participated in a songwriting contest hosted by independent label 6 Strings Studio. She also took part in a music showcase supported by the National Arts Council at Wisma Geylang Serai where she performed original songs from her EP album.
