Kevin Gregory Peter
Kevin Gregory Peter is a musician and music educator. He takes influences from styles such as alternative rock, R&B, latin, jazz, fusion and mainstream pop music. At LASALLE, Kevin learnt unique drumming techniques and is comfortable bending the norms of the drum kit. This is evident in the lush original music by his instrumental rock bands Arkentree and Building Fire. Kevin also does live and studio session work and has worked on numerous local and international artists' music.
Work
Kevin Gregory originally initiated the four-person collective Building Fire to create original music for his final year recital. The band consists of a violinist, drummer, bassist, and electric guitarist, and presents a fresh take on modern instrumental rock music. The result is thematic original songs that blur genre distinctions.
