Rachel Wong is a Malaysian violinist, composer and arranger. During her time at LASALLE, Rachel’s musical style evolved from classical to other genres such as blues, indie-folk and traditional Irish fiddling. In 2019, Rachel demonstrated her versatility with violin performances at Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore Night Fest and Asia’s Got Talent. She also scored her first short film FACES as well as wrote and produced the theme song for the homesick project podcast. In 2020, Rachel was selected to participate in the Singapore Symphony Orchestra's first-ever orchestration workshop conducted by Tim Davies and had her orchestrations of Ravel's Le Gibet and Final Questions played by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra at Victoria Concert Hall. Her current dream is to score a Disney animated musical movie based on Malaysian folklore.
