Athina Kamarudin

Diploma in Dance
2017 — 2020

Athina Kamarudin began her journey in dance with ballet. The demanding nature of ballet coupled with its gracefulness shaped Athina into the disciplined yet expressive dancer she is today. Athina danced under the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia in various genres including contemporary, urban and traditional Malay court dance where she participated in dance competitions and festivals. Athina went on to dance for a charity event under Tony Stone, leading the Malaysian team in the Superdance Competition held in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2014 where they won first place. The multidisciplinary approach to dance was what attracted Athina to pursue a Diploma in Dance at LASALLE College of the Arts.
